This listing is for a brand new HEI distributor for V8 Oldsmobiles. Fits 1964-90 V8s - 260, 307, 330, 350, 400, 403, 425, and 455 engines. This is a new distributor, not a second or blem. Pefect for upgrading non-computer controlled engines. Under the cap is a 50,000 volt coil and built in performance module to ensure accurate and reliable timing to 7,000 RPM. True spark alignment for instant throttle response.  Comes with adjustable vacuum advance andpremium cap with brass terminals. 4340 Chromoly gear will work with cast or billet camsStandard GM HEI caps, rotors, etc. will interchange. Cap is about 5.5" in diameter so clearance check recommended. Will require plug wires with HEI style ends for male cap posts. A second connection is also under the coil cover for electronic tach hook-up.

Also included is a set of New Moroso "Mag-Tune" wire sets are a premium, top of the line ignition wire. These wires are a universal fit, you will need to assemble the distributor end. They come with both HEI and socket style ends plus coil wire (35", unassembled). 90 degree boots on both ends. Made in the USA.  These Moroso wires are manufactured with a stainless nickel alloy wire which is wound 32 times per inch around a conductive laytex coated, heavy fiberglass core. This conductor meets O.E. radio frequency interference (RFI) requirements while operating at one-tenth the resistance of conventional "Carbon Core" conductor. All ignition wire jacket is made from two layer EPDM (ethlyene propylene diene monomer) for the best heat protection and highest dielectric strength. Layers are separated by a fiberglass reinforcing braid for added pull strength. The spark plug boots are all silicone and sure grip snap-lock terminals are used. This kit includes:
